My favorite relative is not so relative ..

Well, this time i had to write about a favorite relative, but honestly i do not have ... Although I love so much my mom or my brother, but i do not feel i have a preference for either. That's why, my relative not as relative

She is Maka, my best friend and my "sister". She is 21 and studies in language pedagogy. I shared with her many times, in scouts, at parties, of everyday, or family ... and share mutual confidences or secrets.
She has worn glasses (have to wear glasses with high magnification) but she does not like, so now wear contact lenses, now she's happy about it, but for me will always be maka with glasses heheh
She has been has played an important role in my life, she has always been there when i most needed or when i was feeling bad about something .. has supported me in all the choices that i could make, and most importantly shared their time with me

Well, you know that i'm studing veterinary medicine, and maybe you know that i like zoo's.
well, i like and catches my attention because there are exotic animals or animals in danger of extinction, for that reason i like to work in a zoo or a center of nature conservation..



In the zoo i would work with wolves or big cats, i like big animals in general, i would also like to zebras.
i would work in a reserve, i like to care exotic birds or any mammal at risk


In the future i would like to specialize in conservation medicine, although my attention like the small animal clinical medicine, mostly dogs ... i do not really like cats. i think my favoritism  for the exotic makes me want to work with them, it is also a branch that does not look much from the vet, at least not in Chile.




After studying veterinary i like to travel and see other places where veterinarians are highly valued, or where there are many animal diversity. my visions are put into Canada France or somewhere in Africa ... That at least for now.

A picture that i love...

Well, i love this picture because is too expresive and hard, many people and artist think that is like "Pietà" a sculpture by Michelangelo. In this picture we can see a mother with her wounded son in her arms.

This photo won the "World Press Photo 2011" and the scene symbolizes everything that happened with the "Arab Spring"
 The picture does not have much memories for me, but have too much feeling. it's hard see a mother suffer, by his son, and more when he is wound for fight for the revolution of Yemen.
 Ohh and its funny because i have a memories for this picture, but is not of the war and revolution context. Its because a band (Crystal Castles) used this picture in a albums, and when they come to chile (for the lollapalooza 2013) i see this picture and it gave me goosebumps. In this show i touch the singer of crystal castles, and was so hard.. I thought i would faint (for the temperature and was so tight)

"when I grow up I want to be a vet" :3

Well, why i want to be a vet?

the truth, i think i want to be a vet because i want help to the most vulnerable, and i feel that at this time the most vulnerable are the animals.
I think it all started as a child.When i was 9 years old, i loved animals, loved going to the zoo and i loved the natural sciences school subject (especially when i had to expound about animals)
Then, when i was 11, i dissect a mouse with some friends, i think there i woke up a love of anatomy and a curiosity about how animals work and human.
And well, skipping a long time(time that i thought studying medical technology, accounting and other careers.), now i'm at the Universidad de Chile, studying veterinary medicine :3
The university has been good, although a little exhausting, but i love my faculty and the people in it.
 Personally, I think I would like to work in a zoo, in some exotic animal clinic, or in a nature reserve. I love the big animals 

My "t4i" !

My t4i is an analog camera digital Canon with a zoom lens ef-s 18-55mms (that's her lens having, which is a separate piece)
I bought it this year, it is very important for me because it is the first big invercion. I've been saving since last year, and this june i bought for "mercadolibre".
The camera has various modes, of which i use the most personalized, to get special photographs. Also use some filters out of the way the light in the photo, or to protect the lens.
I use it pretty often, sometimes i take when i go to parties, or even when i go to university, i like to take pictures of different moments because something fun always happens.. heh 
I like my camera because i can do many different photos with it, i can do videos too, i can change lenses for various type of photo, and also has touch screen. 
My life would change so much without my camera, but i could live without it ... i did it for a long time, why i could not do it now?

1.What kind of animal is it? (mammal, bird, etc.)
It's a mammal animal

2.Why do you like this animal?  
I like this animal because it is very smart, and agile. it's also charismatic and has a nice color. I identify with this animal.

3.Why is this animal important in the animal kingdom?
Because they can control plages such as mice(at least in Chile is the case)

4.Is this animal an endangered species?
In Chile, the red fox it's endangered. It's vulnerable by competition (with other animals) and by illegal hunting (to take her skin)

5.Mention 5 facts about this animal.
-They have a tail like cat's. They use their tails as a center of balance, for communication and to keep warm. 
-It's an omnivorous animal.
-Red foxes are hunted for sport, and for her skin.
-They can carry rabies.
- It's of solitary habits.

What is your opinion about same-sex marriage?
In my opinion, that is totally valid, the persons can feel love, and I do not believe that it's necessary to limit it to anything so simple as the sex. 
Love it's love, without barriers of sex, religion, color, and others.



What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana?
Speaking for myself, i think it would be good do so, because would lower the drug trafficking, might be in use as remedy, and might sell like cigar. But I believe, that must be restricted like cigarette



What is your opinion about killing stray dogs?
 I believe that it is the worst decision that can think to handle the population of dogs. I believe, that the better thing would be a castration and to educate the population with responsibility.


 
What is your opinion about child labor? 
Personally, I think children are children because they deserve to enjoy their childhood, because they should not have responsibilities and they are innocent. they only have to enjoy his childhood and be happy.


What is your opinion about recycling? 
 I think it is the best method that can be to create something. to be recycled do not damage both the planet and everything is used. Together with the bicycle, the best "save world" heh
